ABOUT THE HOTEL

Located at the highest point of Tavira, the Maria Nova Lounge is just a few minutes’ walk from the historic town centre.

Following a complete renovation, it offers a modern and contemporary design with fabulous views of the town and estuary. This is one of our favourite hotels in the Algarve, not too big, a warm reception from the staff and perfect for venturing into town.

There are 134 rooms, all with balcony, views over the town or for a small supplement views over the pool. The Balsa restaurant offers a selection of international and local cuisine with selected wines from the region. You can finish off your evening at the Nomad’s roof top bar. The hotel also has an indoor pool, gym and spa.  We are happy to arrange private airport and golf transfers for a more relaxed golf break.
