Is Molas Resort Golf Club: your questions answered

Is Is Molas worth playing?

Yes, if you want one of the most famous courses in Italy with the convenience of a hotel on the property. Is Molas suits golfers who prefer a settled resort base to a touring itinerary, and its favourable year-round climate makes it a sensible pick outside the peak summer months too. Groups on longer stays get extra value from the 27 holes.

Who designed the golf course at Is Molas?

Is Molas was designed by Henry Cotton and Frank Pennick, two respected names in course architecture. The course plays to a par of 72 and there are 27 holes in total, which is useful on a longer stay because you are not repeating an identical 18 every day. It is a resort course, with the hotel part of the same property.

Can you stay on site at Is Molas?

Yes. Is Molas is a stay-and-play resort with its own on-site hotel, so there is no daily travel between your accommodation and the course. If you would like to mix in rounds at other Sardinian courses, your Golf Planet Holidays specialist can build those into the trip and arrange the transfers between the hotel and the courses.

When is the best time of year to play at Is Molas?

Golf at Is Molas is realistic all year round. The nearby sea and the shelter of the surrounding hills give the course a microclimate of its own, with winter temperatures that do not tend to fall below 10C (50F) and summer highs around the mid 80s Fahrenheit, roughly 29C. Do pack layers for winter rounds though; mild is not the same as warm.

How much does a golf holiday at Is Molas cost?

There is no published from-price for Is Molas at the moment, because packages are priced per person around your dates, room type and number of rounds. Green fees are built into every Golf Planet Holidays package, so the quote you receive is a genuine like-for-like figure. Enquiries are free, with no payment and no obligation, and quotes arrive by email.

Can I book Is Molas through Golf Planet Holidays?

Yes. Golf Planet Holidays has been hand-building golf trips since 1981 and is rated 4.9 on Google. A named golf specialist plans your Is Molas trip, books the tee times and arranges transfers where you need them. Your booking is PTS protected, with ATOL cover where flights are included; trips are ground-only as standard and flights are an optional add-on.
