The natural beauty of Queen's Golf Course at Gleneagles has inspired some of the world’s most experienced players. Threading through high ridges on the north and west sides of the estate, the Queen’s boasts a lovely woodland setting with lochans and ditches as water hazards.
The front nine are short by modern standards but don’t get careless as the wind and narrow fairways can make the green seem a mile away.

Par 68 on the card looks gentle, but the Queen's narrow fairways and ridge-top wind punish anyone reaching for driver out of habit.
