Home to the Evian Championship, the fifth major on the world women’s golf tour. Evian is an exceptionally manicured golf course set in 150 acres of prime parkland looking down on Lake Leman.
Evian is a tricky course with well-protected greens and several doglegs. It’s all about strategy. In fact, you can tell that the course is subtle yet difficult because the Slope Rating is a whopping 145 although the course measures less than 6700 yards with a par of 72. The start and finish are superb and quite relentless in their demands for clear thinking but there are a few holes around the turn that allow you to grab your score back.
