About El Robledal Golf Club
The golf courses at El Robledal has undergone considerable work over recent years. The fairways have been reseeded and a new lake added. Despite its proximity to Madrid it is in beautiful natural surroundings. You'll enjoy the open fairways, but the numerous bunkers not so much.

Our take
On Madrid's doorstep, El Robledal is an open, dead-flat course where the bunkers do most of the defending.
- Higher handicapsA gentle, easy walk, completely flat with hardly a breath of wind most days and open fairways off the tee. The bunkers are the main tax, so sharpen the sand game beforehand.
- SocietiesA straightforward, sociable day within easy reach of Madrid, with a bar and restaurant for afterwards. Nobody loses a dozen balls and everybody gets round in good spirits.
- Serious golfersSoft by championship standards. With flat lies everywhere and little wind, a low handicapper should beat their number comfortably, so treat it as the loosener of a Madrid trip rather than the main event.
