Less than three miles from Lake Garda is the fantastic Arzaga Golf Club. The Arzaga Golf course is a Jack Nicklaus Jnr course, typically American in design with very few trees but a lot of lakes and strategically placed bunkers. The greens are generous in size but difficult to read with varying tiers and contours. This very fine site also boasts a second 9-hole course designed by Gary Player. 28 miles north west of Verona.
