• Higher handicapsWater is everywhere once you start looking, twenty-six hazards spread across the 27 holes, and the closing stretch punishes a tiring swing. Buggies take the sting out of the moderate climbs.
• SocietiesTwenty-seven holes absorb a big group without a squeeze, the clubhouse is a good one, and Arras itself has hotels, bars and restaurants enough to carry the evenings.
