About Tours Ardree Golf Club
The golf course of Tours Ardree is in a lovely setting, just 10 minutes outside Tours. Designed by Olivier Brizon, the course is well maintained with an attractive mix of 100 year old trees and water obstacles spread over the 18 holes. It's a very enjoyable day's golf with a welcoming clubhouse offering a good lunch and panoramic views over the course.

Our take
Ten minutes from Tours and threaded between century-old trees and water, Ardree is a friendly day's golf where lunch matters nearly as much as the round.
- Higher handicapsAn easy flat walk, a shade over 50 metres of climb over the whole round. Water turns up twenty-odd times through the trees, so pick your lines with care, but nothing here is designed to humiliate you.
- Buddy tripsThe 1st and 4th do the damage right when swings are coldest, so nurse the opening holes. After that it is enjoyable, well kept golf with a welcoming clubhouse to argue over the scores in.
- CouplesOne of those French clubs where the panoramic terrace views and a proper lunch count as half the day out. Ten minutes from Tours, so the golf fits easily around exploring the city.
