About Spyglass Hill
Spyglass Hill is a tremendous course, one of the best in the world. Every hole is named after a Treasure Island character but that's where the fiction ends. This course is tough, beautiful and brilliant. The first five holes take you out to the ocean through a dramatic dunescape then you head into the peace and tranquility of the Del Monte Forest for the rest of the round. Spyglass Hill is a Robert Trent Jones Sr masterpiece.

Our take
A fair and enjoyable round inPebble Beach. We know it inside out, and we will tell you straight who it suits.
- Serious golfersA pleasant test rather than a brute. Good for a competitive round without leaving anyone bruised.
- Higher handicapsForgiving enough to enjoy. A good one to relax into if you are not playing every day.
- Societies & groupsA cracking matchplay course, with enough risk and reward to split the field and plenty to argue about over a drink after.
- WalkersHonestly, it is hilly. Most golfers take a buggy and are glad of it, especially late in the round.
