• Serious golfersPar 71 with trees pressing in and large bunkers doing the policing, it wants placement off the tee; the 8th and the 15th are where tidy cards tend to come unstuck.
• Higher handicapsPlayable if you keep it straight, expensive if you spray it into the trees, and there is a solid 200 metres of climbing over the round; take a buggy and enjoy the Palma views instead.
• CouplesThe Sheraton sits on the course itself with sister courses alongside, so there are no transfers at all: stroll to the tee, play your round, and the bay of Palma is your backdrop.
