ABOUT THE COURSE
Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf is a very traditional Spanish golf club, not far from Malaga, at the start of the Costa del Sol. Ideal for first and last day’s of short golf breaks, it is tucked away behind the city, with the front nine holes in a parkland layout and water hazards after the turn. Each green presents its own challenges with some elevated to add to the test. The original 1987 design was updated by Miguel Angel Jimenez in 2007 and Guadalhorce truly deserves its elevation to Real, or Roual, Club de Golf in 21017. The only drawback is the sounds from nearby Malaga Airport but you soon forget those and relax into your very enjoyable day.
