• Serious golfersLanger's design earns its tournament billing, wide greens that leave long putts, big bunkers and water everywhere you look. The 10th and the 13th are where good rounds go wrong, so know your numbers there.
• Higher handicapsBudget a few balls for the ten water hazards, but the fairways wind smoothly rather than pinch, the tees are wide, and the flat ground means tired legs will not add to the damage.
• SocietiesThe executive course and a well equipped driving range give a group somewhere to warm up or wind down, and 100 hectares of room means nobody feels crowded.
