About
A Truly Traditional Experience – Golf has been played in Dooks since 1889 and so is the oldest Golf Club in Kerry and one of the oldest in Ireland. Dooks Golf Club was a nine hole course until 1970, when the members voluntarily constructed a second nine.
In 2002 Dooks Golf Club engaged the services of renowned links architect Mr. Martin Hawtree to enhance the layout of this visually stunning seaside gem.
Hawtree truly lived up to his reputation and to-day, Dooks Golf Club, with its gentle rolling sandy fairways looking out at breathtaking views of Dingle and overlooked by the magnificent highest mountains in Ireland, the McGillycuddy Reeks, is a golf experience not to be missed.
For a golfer who wants a real taste of traditional links golf at its very best, Dooks presents a convincing case.
