The Dukes at St Andrews is regarded as one of the finest heathland championship courses in the the UK. Designed by 5 time Open Champion Peter Thompson this parkland course is an enjoyable contrast to the links of the St Andrews Trust courses. When the heather is in full bloom make sure to have a good stock of balls in your bag, as wayward balls will be sucked up by the shrubland.
