ABOUT THE GOLF CLUB

The Blairgowrie Golf Club in Perthshire is famous for its rich history and two Championship golf courses.  The renowned Rosemount and Lansdowne courses  are set in heather-lined avenues of pine and silver birches. There’s also a very enjoyable ‘Wee’ nine hole course.

The Rosemount  is a James Braid design influenced by Dr Alistair MacKenzie.  It is regarded as one of Scotland’s finest inland courses.

The Lansdowne, designed by Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas, is a more challenging test channelled through huge swathes of pine and silver birch trees. On a journey to the north of Scotland it’s worth spending a day or two in this area to embrace the fantastic golf here.
