Troia Golf Holidays

The Pousada de Setúbal - São Filipe: A fortress built in the 17th-Century by King Philip II of Spain (Philip I of Portugal), it rises from a beautiful recess of the River Sado, between the port of Setúbal and the narrow peninsula of Tróia.  You walk over the rampart that crosses the thick walls of the fort, where one can appreciate the panoramic views of Arrábida, of the estuary of Sado and the Atlantic.

Setubal Museum (Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia) - The Archeology and Folklore Museum next door to the Igreja de Santa Maria da Graça, has displays of tools and implements used in farming and fishing around Setúbal, and also model ships.

Troia Golf Breaks

Setúbal, one of Portugal's main ports, also offers beautiful walks within the historic centre and surroundings; such as Sado River beaches or the Arrábida mountain range.

Troia Portugal Match Cup - If you enjoy nautical sports, don’t miss the June round of the World Match Racing Tour held in Tróia. The World Match Racing Tour is an annual series that provides training and qualification for the America’s Cup.  Involving the world’s finest sailors, this is an extremely competitive regatta, staged in various countries in the world.

Dear Team,

We are just back from our trip to Quinta da Marinha and the Onyria.

Thank you for recommending and organising this excellent holiday. The place was ideal for us - we enjoyed the hotel and its facilities, visited Lisbon, Cascais, and Sintra, and I found the golf courses to be just what I hoped. The staff at the hotel and golf course were all most friendly and helpful.

We asked you to find a holiday for us with several criteria, and you came up with something that met every one.

With regards

Mr Bull
