Gran Canaria Golf Holidays

Gran Canaria Jeep Safari - The most fun way to explore the mountains and countryside of Gran Canaria. Venture off-road along dirt tracks in an open-top 4x4 jeep and discover the true meaning of the famous Gran Canaria; “a continent in minature”.  Accompanied by an expert driver, your open-top jeep will take you into protected National Park areas. Setting off from the resorts in the south drive along the coast to Puerto Mogán and then head off road along dirt tracks into the mountains passing amazing rock formations and through pine tree groves. At Presa de Las Niñas you will discover one the largest lakes on the island and, weather permitting, you can take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear water before continuing with your ascent. Your journey takes you pass the quaint mountain village of Ayacata before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch head back down through the mountains via San Bartolome village, the pretty town of Fataga and the canyons in the south.

Gran Canaria Grand Tour - Your day starts with a short drive to the pretty town of Ingenio which is one of the oldest on the island and an important centre for handicrafts. Here you visit the Museo de Piedra – Museum of Stone – best know for its embroidery school and handicraft workshop. Afterwards the tour continues pass the towns of Tedle and Tafira as you head to the stunning Bandama Crater. This volcanic crater is 1000 metres across and 200 metres deep and from the observation platform you can enjoy spectacular views of the crater and across to the north and east coasts of the island. Travel on through La Atalaya which is famous for its cave houses and pottery, Santa Brigada, Pino before stopping in Teror. This quaint town has some of the best examples of colonial-style mansions and is dominated by the 18th century Basilica de la Virgen del Pino. At Valleseco, you will stop for lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to the villages of Cueva Corcho and Cruz de Tejeda which nestles in a mountainside surrounded by terraced cornfields, orchards and vegetable fields. At Mirador del Fraile and Roque Nublo there are two huge rock formations that stand more than 70 metres high and result from the areas volcanic past. Here you can also enjoy wonderful views across the island. Your final stop is in San Bartolome de Tirjana, before travelling through Fataga and returning to your hotel.

Medieval Night at Castillo San Miguel - The Earl and Countess welcome you to the grand San Miguel Castle for a night of jousting, duelling and marksmanship complimented by a hearty medieval feast.  Enter the grounds of Castillo San Miguel and find yourself immersed in a real-life medieval world; knights on horses roam the Tournament Hall and all around are suits of armour, swords, chests of gold and scrolls of the medieval epoch. The Earl and the Countess greet you one by one and then you will be shown to the Tournament Hall for the start of the medieval fights and games. See knights jousting on horseback and and enjoy your medieval meal with the soup drunk and a whole chicken per person is eaten by hand. The dinner is completed with dessert and free flowing wine. After your dinner, adjourn to the ballroom where you can dance and watch the comedians, acrobats and Spanish Ballet including a perfomance by the Brasilian Acrobatics 'Capoeira'.

Wild West Night at Sioux City - For a memorable taste of the Wild West head to Sioux City where you will discover a working film set that has been used for a host of hit movies such as the legendary ‘A Fistful of Dollars’ starring Clint Eastward. An appetizing barbeque dinner, drinks in the saloon and a breathtaking stunt show combine for a great night out!

Super Cat Catamaran Cruise  - Enjoy a relaxing day sailing along the beautiful west coast of Gran Canaria aboard the Supercat, one of Europe’s largest sailing catamarans.   The journey passes unspoilt coastline including magnificent cliff formations, hidden coves and golden beaches and occasionally you can spot dolphins in their natural habitat.  omplimentary beer, wine and soft drinks are available  and the boat drops anchor and an appetizing barbecue lunch is served on board.
